How To: iTunes Code Application
As part of a promotion or to allow users to test their application, developers of iOS apps sometimes hand out iTunes promotional codes. Those codes let you download a specific application from iTunes, free of charges. You can redeem an iTunes application code by clicking on a specific link in the iTunes Store.

Launch iTunes by clicking on the "iTunes" folder in your Start menu and selecting the "iTunes" shortcut.

Select "iTunes Store" from the left-hand pane and click on the "App Store" tab at the top of the page.

Click on the "Redeem" link. You can find that link under "Quick Links" in the right-hand pane.

Enter your iTunes application code and click on the "Redeem" button. Log in to iTunes with your Apple ID if you have not previously done so.

Click on the "Done" button. iTunes will now start downloading your free application.
