JMP Fit Model Tutorial
When working with multiple X and Y variables in the JMP modeling software, you use the "Analyze" menu's "Fit Model" function to set up the data. When you use this function, you choose the X and Y values you want to model and view and the software displays the data without any user intervention. The fit model tool is beneficial when you have multiple types of data you want to compare.

Open the JMP software in the Windows program menu. Open the file you want to use for the fit model.

Click the "Analyze" menu item and select "Fit Model." A window opens asking you for the X and Y values.

Type the two values you want to use for your model and click "OK." The model displays in the viewer.

Click "Make Model." A new window opens that displays the model with all X and Y values found in the JMP file.
