How to Angle Your Beard
For men, having a beard is a fashion statement — the way a man wears his beard says a lot about his personality and individual sense of style. For example, a man who lets his beard grow wild exudes a carefree, laid back personality whereas someone with a sharp, angled beard seems more business-like and authoritative. Although electric razors are easier to use, they do not provide the close, controlled shave of a razor blade. If you have a beard you want to angle, use a combination of both types of razors to transform your look. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Plug in your electric razor and use it to trim the beard. If you have a thick beard, it is difficult to shave it using only a razor blade because the hair clogs the razor. Use the electric razor to trim the beard to the desired length.
-
2
Inspect the edge of your razor blade to make sure it is sharp and clean. A sharp blade gives you the close and precise shave required to create an angled look.

3
Apply shaving gel to the surface of your face to reduce the friction caused by shaving. Once you’ve applied the gel, envision how you want to angle your beard.
-
4
Use your razor to trace the angle of your beard, shaving away unwanted hair to create a clean, angled line. When the razor becomes clogged with shaving gel, rinse it off using hot tap water.
-
5
Shave the beard until the desired angle is obtained. When you are done, wash off the remaining gel and make sure your beard looks the way you want it.
