How to Download "Dance Workout" to a PS3
There are a number of workout videos available on the market that use the term “dance workout” in the title. Downloading any dance workout video into the hard drive of a PlayStation 3 is possible with an Internet connection. However the video must be in a proper format to work with the video viewer in the PS3 operating system.

1
Locate the desired dance workout video at the PlayStationStore or other online retailers. PS operates an e-commerce store that is easily accessed through the game interface, and the workout videos in this store will be compatible with and optimized for viewing in a PS3 and other PlayStation devices. At other locations, look for the PS3 logo for compatibility or choose MP4, DivX or WMV video file formats.

2
Purchase the video from the store. Follow through with the retailer's purchasing and checkout procedure for dance workout videos, including those offered free of charge. Some retailers will email a download link for the video while others allow you to access the link from inside your account with their store.

Follow the PS3 download prompts. Follow through the prompts on the screen while using the PS3, making appropriate selections to initiate and complete the download of the dance workout video.

Tips & Warnings
Before downloading anything new into the PlayStation hard drive, including video, ensure that PS3 security and software updates have been installed. The 160GB hard drive may also fill quickly if used to store dance workout videos. The best plan is to purchase an external hard drive that can plug into the PS3 via USB so that videos can easily be accessed and viewed without reducing PS3 capacity or the virtual memory that helps prevent lagging while gaming.
PlayStation notes that in order to play Windows Media File formats, users must go to SETTINGS then choose System Settings and Enable WMA Playback.
Most videos will be available in a PS3 compatible format, however if one is found that isn't, download and install the VLC media player (see Resources). This is an open-source and lightweight product that is free and plays a large number of view formats.
