Open the cabinet door. Use a screwdriver to remove the hinge screws from the back of the cabinet door. Turn the screws in the counterclockwise direction. Take the door off the cabinet.

Lay the cabinet door near the edge of a table. The back side must be facing up. Put a clamp near each corner of the door. Slowly tighten the clamps. Tighten the clamps until the door is laying flat on the table. The bowed-out door will straighten as the clamps tighten.

Place the wood brace diagonally across the back of the door. The brace must be short enough to fit inside the door rails.

Put a screwdriver bit into the drill chuck. Tighten the chuck according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Drive a wood screw through the end of the wood brace to secure it to the back of the cabinet door. Place another wood screw into the other end of the wood brace. Remove the clamps from the door. The wood brace should keep the door flat and straight.

Tips & Warnings
The wood brace can be made from any piece of wood that is strong enough to keep the cabinet door from bowing out again.
The wood brace must fit inside the dimensions of the door frame. If the brace is too long, the door will not be able to close.
Some repairs might require a vertical or horizontal brace to fix the bow. The placement of the brace depends upon where the door is bowed out.
