      Measure the size of your shower floor and write down its dimensions.

      Purchase a shower tray of the correct size for your shower area's floor. Shower trays are available from hardware stores and from specialist retailers online. Buy a tray with adjustable feet.

      Slide your tray into place and connect your drain trap. This should screw into place. Add a coating of silicone sealant around your drain hole before installing the drain hole trim.

      Adjust the feet of your tray with a pair of pliers. Check that it's level with a bubble level.

      Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the perimeter ot your shower tray where it meets your walls.

      Clip your tray's side panels into place to conceal your shower's pipework.
