Instructions

    • 1

Turn the nozzle on the end of the faucet counterclockwise to loosen it.

    • 2

Align the Python adapter so that the rotating coupling is pointed upwards.

    • 3

Slip the coupling on the adapter over the end of the faucet.

    • 4

Grasp the adapter with one hand. With your other hand, turn the coupling on the adapter clockwise to tighten it.

    • 5

Slip the coupling for the Python hose over either the adapter's side or bottom connection, depending on your requirements.

Tips & Warnings

  • If the nozzle on the end of your faucet is stuck, try this: wrap the jaws of a pair of pliers with duct tape. Grasp the nozzle with the pliers, and turn counterclockwise. The duct tape prevents the nozzle from being scratched, and the pliers will give you extra leverage during removal.

  • Loop the Python hose over a faucet handle or other object while filling or draining, so the movement of the hose doesn't cause the adapter coupling to slip and leak.
