Making Up a Dorm Room Bed
While dorm students are known for partying and getting their living space dirty, making a comfortable bed is key to feeling comfortable in your new room, even if you're unlikely to keep your bed neat over time. A dorm room bed has multiple uses, and it should be made with that in mind.

1
Identify your bed in the dorm room. This may require choosing between the upper and lower bunk.
-
2
Spread the sheet onto bed, folding the four corners of the sheet under the bed.
-
-
3
Spread the top sheet onto the bed, folding the bottom two corners underneath the bed.
-
4
Fold the upper part of the top sheet onto itself, allowing for easier access between the layers of sheets.
-
5
Place the comforter on top of the upper sheet, aligning its four corners with the bed's four corners and ensuring that it runs off the bed equally on all sides.
-
6
Place pillows with their pillow sheets between the comforter and the upper sheet.
-
7
Fold a blanket horizontally so it can rest at the bottom of the bed on top of the comforter.

Tips & Warnings
Find a comforter and sheets that are darker in color. Your bed is often the main piece of furniture and is used extensively. Comforters and sheets should not reveal dirt or grime easily and should withstand heavy use.
