How to Convert MX4 Files
Mixcraft 4 is an audio mixing application that uses a file format called MX4 to store uncompressed audio. This application allows you to convert MX4 files into the MP3, OGG, WMA and WAV audio formats. If you do not have Mixcraft 4 on your computer, you can get it from the Acoustica website.

Go to the Download Mixcraft webpage on acoustica.com. Click the Download Mixcraft v4 link under the Additional Downloads section to download Mixcraft 4.

Click “Open” and follow all onscreen instructions to install Mixcraft 4.

Click “Start,” point to All Programs, click Acoustica Mixcraft and then click Mixcraft 4.

Click the Load Project icon on the upper left-hand side of the Mixcraft 4 window. Click the Files of Type drop-down button and select the Mixcraft 4 Project (*.MX4) option. Now select the MX4 file that you want to convert and click “Open.”

Click the File option on the upper left-hand side of the Mixcraft 4 window. Point to Mix Down To and select the audio format (MP3, OGG, WMA, WAV) that you want to convert the MX4 file to.

Specify a destination and click “Save” to convert the MX4 file into the selected audio format.
