Instructions

    • 1

Clear the dresser of any items that will not be used in the tablescape itself. Dust the dresser thoroughly.

    • 2

Lay out the base of your tablescape. This is the piece that other objects are placed on. For example, if you are using a snowy white tablecloth on the main table, use something similar here. If you don't have another tablecloth, you can use a sheet folded to the correct size or buy a piece of white fabric.

    • 3

Arrange the other decorative items on your base layer. Start with larger items, whether they are topiaries, vases of flowers or other items. Place medium items next, such as figurines or delicate bowls. Add the smallest items next to finish off the decoration.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you are placing small bowls, plates or cups out as part of the decoration, partially fill them with something that goes with the theme. Consider using flower petals, sand, fake snow or glitter.

  • Watch for burning hazards when incorporating lit candles.
