How to Read Orkut Locked Scraps
Orkut, a social networking website owned by Google, allows its users to create personal profile pages and stay in touch with friends and family. Social features of the site include the ability to share photos in the form of scrapbooks. You can configure your scrapbooks to be private and visible to only your friends. Scraps, or comments made on your scrapbook, are then locked from anyone who is not your friend on Orkut.

Log in to your Orkut account.

Type the name of the person whose locked scrap you wish to view in the search box located in the upper right corner of the page.

Click your friend’s name from the list of available results.

Click “Add as Friend” from your friend’s profile page.

Wait for confirmation from your friend.

Click the desired scrapbook of your friend to read the scraps associated with the photos.
