How to Keep Lace Wig on Head for Women With Hair
Lace wigs were originally designed for people with hair loss due to conditions such as alopecia, cancer and thyroid disorders. Now, celebrities and regular people also use lace wigs because of their quality and difficulty to identify as wigs. Choose between a full wig that covers your whole head of a front that blends with your existing hair. Either type of wig needs to be put on securely if you don't want it shifting or falling off. There are a couple of methods to choose from to reduce the chances of your wig moving. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

Glue Method
-
1
Place a wig cap over your hair if you're using a full lace wig and have a lot of hair. Don't wear a wig cap if you're using a front lace wig because this prevents your existing hair from blending with the hair on your wig. Pull your hair back into a ponytail or put it into a bun if you need to get it out of the way for the next step.

2
Apply liquid adhesive with your finger. Don't use cotton swabs because the little cotton fibers will stick to the adhesive. Apply the adhesive first on your forehead, just in front of your natural hairline. Follow the hairline with the glue. Drop your chin to your chest to apply the liquid adhesive to your neck. Let the glue dry until it is clear and sticky to the touch.

Set the wig on a wig stand and pull the hair into a firm knot at the crown. Use a water bottle to spritz a little water on the wig to control fly-away hairs. Put the wig on your head by starting at the forehead. Press the edges firmly against your forehead and then work down the sides and back of your neck until the wig is fully secure. Put on a headband to help set the bonding process of the liquid adhesive.
Tape Method
-
4
Cut your adhesive tape to the length of your natural hairline. Put on a hair cap if you choose. Place a strip of tape onto your forehead. Affix additional strips of tape around the rest of your hairline.

5
Place the front of the wig against the front of your forehead and apply firm pressure. Work down one side of your head, pressing the wig into the tape. Repeat on the other side. Tilt your chin down to your chest and press down against the wig along the nape of your neck.

6
Put on a headband to secure the wig. Avoid water or excessive perspiration for at least 24 hours after applying the wig.
