How to Do Really Pretty Eyeliner for Teens
Teenage eye makeup must be simple, natural and age appropriate. Because bright colors can quickly look clownish, it's best to choose natural eye makeup colors. Daytime eyeliner shades can be brown or gray, while black eyeliner can play up your eyes at night. In the morning, when you may be pressed for time, use a pencil eyeliner, which is easy to apply and has a more natural appearance. During the nighttime, a liquid eyeliner can provide a more dramatic look. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Sit in a chair and place a mirror in front of you on a table.
-
2
Place the elbow of your dominant hand on the table. This helps support your hand to prevent it from shaking so that you can draw smudge-free lines.
-
-
3
Put your index and middle finger on the skin next to the outer corner of your eye. Lightly pull the skin outward to create a smooth drawing surface.
-
4
Line your eyes for daytime. Place the tip of your eyeliner at the inner corner of your upper lash line. Slide the eyeliner over the lash line as close as possible to your eyelashes. Apply minimal pressure at the inner corner and gradually apply more pressure as you move toward the outer corner. The line must start thin and get thicker as you get toward the outer corner.
-
5
Extend the eyeliner past the outer corner of your eyes for a nighttime look that resembles cat eyes. Curve the extended line upward at a 45-degree angle.
-
6
Line the outer two-thirds of your lower lash line to create a smoky eye that's also suitable for nighttime. Attach the upper and lower lines in the outer corner of your eye. Swipe a cotton swab over the eyeliner to make it appear less harsh. As an alternative, swipe some eye shadow over the eyeliner to make your eyes really pop.
