How to Fill in Eyebrow Spots
Achieving natural-looking eyebrows is a beauty challenge many women face at one time or another. If you don't use enough color, you risk looking washed out; use too much and you may become a caricature of the old spinster aunt who drew on her eyebrows and sported the perpetually surprised look. Pick a color close to your natural eyebrow color, take your time, and use a light touch for the best results. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Select a soft, wax-based eyebrow pencil the same shade as your natural eyebrows, unless they are extremely light, in which case you should use a pencil one or two shades darker than your natural eyebrow color.
-
2
Hold your eyebrow taut and gently fill in the entire eyebrow with short, quick strokes of the pencil. Start by filling in any obvious gaps with a few pencil strokes, then color the entire eyebrow with the pencil so it all matches.

3
Use an eyebrow brush or a clear mascara wand-like brush, called a spoolie, to go over the eyebrow gently to blend the color throughout the eyebrow.
-
4
Use the brush to feather the brows softly for a more natural look, if desired. To tame flyaway hairs, pat on a little clear gel and smooth it down in the desired direction.
