How to Lubricate a Leaking PVC Cutoff Valve

PVC cutoff valves connect each water source in a home to the main water source. The valves are in places on the PVC pipe system to address individual leaks without shutting of the main water source for the entire home. Valves connect individual water sources, such as sinks, showers, toilets and dishwashers. Lubricating a leaking PVC cutoff valve will allow you to open and close it more freely.
