Instructions

    • 1

Put a cloth down on the floor near the rough-in area and lay the bowl section of the toilet on the cloth so that the base faces upward. Position the wax ring that comes with your toilet into the open space on the toilet bowl's bottom. Ensure it is secure.

    • 2

Flip the bowl over and align it over the rough-in so that the dual bolts extending up from the floor line up with the bolt holes on the toilet's bottom. Lower the toilet over the bolts. The bolts will extend through and up out of the toilet's bowl section.

    • 3

Find the washers and nuts that came with your toilet and apply these over the two bolts using an adjustable wrench. Ensure they are tight.

    • 4

Lower the tank section of the toilet over the bowl section so that the two bolts extending up from the bowl insert smoothly into the premade bolt holes on the base of the tank. Tighten the screws on the outside of the tank with a Phillips screwdriver.

    • 5

Insert the water supply tube into the coupling on the bottom side of the toilet's tank section. Use the adjustable wrench to tighten the coupling in order to hold the supply tube in place.

    • 6

Twist the water shutoff valve at the back of the toilet counterclockwise to turn on the water and fill up the toilet tank.
