Place a plunger in the toilet and cover the entire drainpipe. Quickly pump the plunge over the drainpipe. This will cause overflowing water to blackflush into the drainpipe. Pressure from the backflushing water should help clear any blockage or obstruction.

4
Use a plumber's snake to clear the drainpipe if necessary. After backflushing the toilet, insert a plumber's snake into the drainpipe. Move the snake around and check for any resistance. If you feel a blockage or resistance, push the item down into the drainpipe. This will move the item through the sewer line and prevent future blockages.
