How to Install a Pen Modifier on ActivInspire

Young students benefit from working with interactive learning software.

ActivInspire by Promethean Planet is an education software that provides an interactive computer tool for students to use as they learn. Students can use the pen modifiers to draw circles and other shapes and highlight text on the screen. The pen modifier software was released with the 1.4 version of the ActivInspire software and can be added to older versions with an update.

Instructions

1. Launch the ActivInspire Studio program. From the the "Help" menu, select "Check for Updates."

2. Follow the instructions on the screen to update your version of ActivInspire.

3. Click the "Edit" menu. Select "Profiles" from the drop-down menu. Click on "Commands." Select the desired "Pen Modifier" from the list on the left side of the window. Click "Add" to add the pen modifier to the toolbox.
