Roar boots are stylish, low cut boots made of either suede or leather. They can hold up to snow, mud and harsh weather, and their styling can also multitask as a dress shoe. When a shoe or boot is doing double duty, it can get scuffed and dirty. Roar boots are tough and resilient. You can clean them up like new after you tramp through almost any weather. Instructions

  1. Leather

      Mix equal parts water and vinegar in a small bowl. Dampen a cloth with the mixture.

      Dab and gently wipe the sides of the boots to remove salt marks from ice removal materials. Follow up the vinegar water solution by wiping the boots with a cloth dampened with water.

      Dip a damp cloth into baking soda to remove scuff marks.

      Scrub the scuffs with the cloth until they are gone then wipe the boots down with a cloth dampened in water. Wait until the boots are dry then buff them with a clean, dry cloth. To dry the boots faster, put them next to a space heater.

    Suede

    • 5

      Scrub the dirt away from suede Roar boots with a pencil eraser. Use it as if you were erasing pencil marks from paper.

      Sand the scuff with an emery board if you can't get it off with the eraser. Lightly sand the scuff or dirt from suede if it is stubborn.

      Brush the sanded or erased area with a stiff toothbrush to lift the nap up and restore the suede to its original appearance.

Tips & Warnings

  • For best results, clean your boots as soon as possible. Don't let dirt dry on them.

  • Do not use a lot of water when you're cleaning your boots. Water can crack or harden leather. Wipe off the water as soon as possible.
