Customize "Little Big Planet" by creating your own levels.

Besides getting to swing from various platforms and dressing your sack boy up in costumes, part of the excitement of playing "Little Big Planet" is that you get to eventually create your own levels. Levels are designed based on the items that you collect throughout the game. Bubbles -- prize or score bubbles -- are one type of item that can accumulate so that you end up with enough to get a bonus, as well as fill up your collection to start a new level.

Instructions

    • 1

Launch the game and go into Edit Mode. This mode allows you to build levels using the objects and items that sack boy has collected. The first time you enter Edit Mode, you will have a new level to create, starting with a blank canvas. Select a background for the level from the design options panel, called the Popit.

    • 2

Build the level according to how you envision it. Use the Popit for all your editing needs, such as changing colors, inserting blocks and platforms, or adding features to the blocks, such as fire.

    • 3

Open the Popit and select the "Tools bag." This opens up more pages of options for you to choose from. Scroll through the objects until you find the prize bubbles. Select a prize bubble to add it into the game.

    • 4

Position the prize bubble according to where you want it to go. As you add it to your level, the bubble will be highlighted -- allowing you to move it up, down, left or right. Press the "Enter" key on your gaming stick or controller to set the bubble into place.

    • 5

Open the tweak menu, which allows you to add points or prizes into the bubbles. Select the option for "My Objects," which is where all the bubbles you collected in the game are stored. Choose an item that you want to place inside the bubble. Now whoever plays your level can score points when they collect the bubble and item.

Save the changes you made in Edit Mode.
