BlueAnt lets you accept or reject incoming calls while you're driving -- hands free.

The BlueAnt S4 uses Bluetooth technology to create a hands-free speakerphone in your vehicle using your Samsung phone. BlueAnt lets you speak commands to place a call and also announces incoming calls so you can accept a call without using your hands. You must load your contacts from your Samsung phone to BlueAnt so BlueAnt can look up and announce callers. You can transfer contacts from your Samsung phone to BlueAnt automatically or manually.

Instructions

    • 1

Pair your Samsung phone with the BlueAnt S4. To pair the devices, access your phone's Bluetooth menu and then search for nearby devices while you have the BlueAnt S4 near the Samsung phone you want to pair it with and both devices are turned on. If the phone asks you for a Bluetooth pin, enter "0000" and then choose "Yes" to pair the devices. Refer to your phone's manual for directions specific to your model.

    • 2

Check to see if the contacts are automatically transferring. When you first pair your phone to the BlueAnt S4, the contacts may begin to transfer without your input. If an automatic transfer doesn't occur, the BlueAnt will indicate that you must transfer contacts manually.

    • 3

Access your contact list on your phone to select the contacts you want to transfer. You may have the option to select multiple or all contacts at once, depending on the model of your Samsung phone.

    • 4

Send your contacts to the BlueAnt S4 by choosing the "Send" or "Beam" option, depending on your phone's settings. Completing this step transfers the contact information to the BlueAnt. If there's no Send or Beam option, look up Bluetooth options in your phone's user manual to determine how to send contacts to a Bluetooth enabled device.

    • 5

Check that your contacts have successfully transferred by making or receiving a call using BlueAnt. You can speak the contact's name to make the call, or BlueAnt will speak the contact's name during an incoming call if the contacts are successfully transferred.

Tips & Warnings

  • If your phone won't transfer contacts to the Blueant S4, then the BlueAnt will read out the number during an incoming call instead of informing you of the contact's name.
