Finding tickets to a hot Las Vegas show is not always easy. While you can occasionally score free "comp" ticktets, you sould be prepared to buy them if necessary. Also, some shows are so popular that tickets may be rather expensive. Here are a few tips and tricks to prepare you for any situation.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Blackjack Book
  1. Step 1

Figure out whether you would like to see a comedy act, musical act, concert, variety show or magic show.

  2. Step 2

Choose some shows you would like to see by reading or listening to reviews.

  3. Step 3

Call the hotel where you will be staying. Ask the concierge if any special deals exist for hotel guests, either for the show in the hotel itself or for other hotels.

  4. Step 4

Gamble for several hours at the casino with your desired show. Place your largest bets when the pit boss is gazing at you. Eventually ask the pit boss for "comp" tickets to the show.

  5. Step 5

Consider just buying the tickets online as it will probably be cheaper than getting them "for free" by playing 8 hours of blackjack! Log on to the Internet, go to a managed ticket marketplace like StubHub.com and click on the link to Las Vegas Show Tickets. Make sure to have the tickets sent to the correct location, your home or office or your hotel in Las Vegas.

  6. Step 6

    Enjoy the show!

Tips & Warnings
  • It is easier to get tickets to a show during the week than on the weekend.
  • You might consider booking a room in a hotel that offers a package deal. These deals include the room, show tickets, and some meals.
  • Affiliated hotels - such as the Mirage, Treasure Island, the Golden Nugget and Bellagio - can get you tickets to any of the other hotels with which they are associated.
  • Don't lose too much money in the effort to get "free" comp tickets.
  • Find out about any and all cancellation fees. Some hotels will charge nothing if you cancel long enough in advance. Package deals can have hidden cancellation costs.
