How to Convert a Weebly Theme to Wordpress

Convert a Weebly theme to WordPress by saving the theme to your computer.

Weebly and WordPress are websites that allow you to create your own websites, using a Weebly or WordPress URL or your own domain name. You have the freedom to design the website in any way you wish, but Weebly and WordPress also offer themes -- templates that allow you to customize the way your website looks. Some themes are only available in Weebly; however, if you wish to use a Weebly theme in WordPress, you can convert the theme by exporting it from Weebly to your computer and then importing it into WordPress.

Instructions

1. Log in to your Weebly account.

2. Click "Theme Editor."

3. Click on the "Design" tab.

4. Select "Edit CSS/HTML."

5. Click "Export Theme" on the upper right corner of the screen.

6. Save the file containing the Weebly theme to your computer.

7. Log in to your WordPress account.

8. Click "Tools" on the dashboard.

9. Select "Import" from the drop-down menu.

10. Select "Weebly" from the platforms listed.

11. Select the file containing the theme you saved to your computer.

12. Click the "OK" button to import it into WordPress.
