How to Troubleshoot the ScanSnap Manager

Fujitsu offers a software package with its ScanSnap hardware to manage the use of the scanner. With this program, you control all aspects of the scanning process. For example, the ScanSnap Manager allows to you to set the brightness of the scan and configure whether your image appears in color or black and white. The ScanSnap Manager program is specific to the model scanner you own and available free of change from the company website.

      Click on the Windows icon at the bottom of your desktop and locate the ScanSnap software in the "Start" menu. The program has an option to create an icon on your task bar and desktop. If the icons disappear, you must open the software from the Start menu.

      Open the Fujitsu software support page on your computer browser. Download the appropriate software package to reinstall the manager if it fails to open. Follow the on-screen instructions for installation.
