My Ethernet Port 0 Could Not Be Initialized
The "Ethernet Port 0 Could Not Be Initialized" error occurs in Windows when your network adapter does not work properly. Windows has several ways to troubleshoot the issue before you determine that you must purchase a new network card. In most instances, the card needs a driver update or must be enabled on the system to fix the error.
Instructions

1
Click the Windows "Start" button and type "device manager." Press "Enter" to open the Device Manager window. Click the plus sign next to the "Network Adapter" group to view a list of network cards on the system. Typically, you only have one card listed.
-
2
Right-click the network card and select "Enable." Windows Device Manager lets you disable and enable network cards, and some software wrongly disables a network card. Enabling the card stops the errors and allows you to reconnect to the network.

3
Right-click the network card again, if enabling the card does not fix the issue. Click "Properties." Click the "Driver" tab. Click "Update" to update the network card drivers to the latest driver version. If the system asks you to reboot, reboot before attempting to connect to the network.
-
4
Click "Diagnose and Repair," if updating the drivers does not fix the issue. The Windows wizard attempts to identify and fix the issue. Reboot the computer after the wizard finishes.
