How to Upload Ringtones From Metro PCS to My Metro Cellphone

Your MetroPCS cellphone comes with several free ringtones, but if you want more variety, visit the MetroStudio store. At the online MetroStudio store, you can browse hundreds of ringtones in nearly two dozen genres, such as jazz, rock, rap and country. MetroPCS allows you to buy ringtones individually or in bundles for a discounted rate. Once you buy a ringtone from the MetroStudio store, it transfers to your phone automatically.

Instructions

1. Add money to your MetroConnect account, if necessary. You can add funds with a prepaid MetroPCS App Store card or a credit card.

2. Navigate to metropcs.com website and click "Downloads." Click the "Shop" button under Ringtones in the MetroStudio menu.

3. Browse through the featured ringtones or sort the ringtones by genre. Click on a ringtone's title to learn more about it and see the price. To buy the ringtone, click the "Buy" button.

4. Click on your phone model. Type your MetroPCS phone number. Click on "Continue." MetroPCS sends a text message to your phone. Open the message when it arrives.

5. Click the "Buy" button in the text message. The ringtone downloads to your phone.

Tips & Warnings

• You can also buy ringtones directly from your cellphone. To purchase a ringtone bundle at a discounted rate, click "MyAccount" and click "Change Plan/Features." Select the ringtone bundle to receive two ringtones every month for $5.
