How to Turn Off the Annoying MIDI Click Sound in Pro Tools 8 LE
Pro Tools includes a click-track feature for both MIDI and analog audio tracks. The click noise plays in sync with an audio project's tempo to help musicians play on time. You may find this sound irritating or distracting, however, and want to remove it while recording. You can do this by disabling the "Click" feature within the program's MIDI menu.
