How to Use a Blog Module in DNN

DotNetNuke, often called DNN for short, contains a built-in blog module that lets you easily create administrator or user blogs. The module must be added to a specific page, so you'll want to create a separate blog page before adding the module to your DNN site. Once you activate and set up the module, you'll be able to add content to the blog the same way you add content to other sections of the site.

Instructions

Sign in to your DNN admin portal. Click on "Pages," then click on "Add."

    • 2

Name the page "Blog," then set the meta title and description. Choose the administrative permission for the page. If you want users other than administrators to be able to add or edit the blog, check the box next to the applicable user level. Be sure to check "View" for "All Users" if you want your blog to be public. Click on "Add Page."
