How to Use Picasa with IncrediMail
Google’s Picasa can email photos with IncrediMail and other desktop email programs instead of emailing them with Gmail. After making IncrediMail your default email program in Windows, set it as your preferred email method in Picasa. You can select photos from your Picasa library and attach them directly to new email, saving you the trouble of digging through your hard drive and looking for their image files. Picasa automatically resizes the photos to appropriate sizes before emailing them.

Open IncrediMail, click the “Tools” menu and select “Options.”

Click the “Make Default” button at the top of the General pane to make IncrediMail your default email program and click “OK.” The Make Default button becomes grayed out when IncrediMail’s already your default email program.

Open Picasa, click the “Tools” menu and select “Options.”

Click the “Email” tab at the top of the Options window.

Click “Use IncrediMail” under the Email tab and click “OK.”

Select one or more images in Picasa, click the “File” menu and select “Email.” IncrediMail’s compose window opens with the image attached.

Enter a recipient’s email address in the “To” box, customize the email’s subject and body and click “Send” to send the email.
