How to Activate a GPS Analyst
To protect its software from piracy, Trimble, the developers of the GPS Analyst extension, requires its customers to activate the program before being able to install it. GPS Analyst is a program that allows its users to use global positioning system data inside ArcGIS, a geographic information manager. Activate your copy of GPS Analyst by visiting a specific website.

Open your Internet browser and visit the "Register" page at Trimble.com. Log in to your Trimble account if you already have one. If you need to create a new account, click on "Create an Account" and fill in the form with your personal details. Click on "Submit."

Click on the "Add" button under the "My Products" category.

Click on the radio button next to "Add a Proof-of-Purchase Number (POPN)" and select "Next."

Type your POPN number in the field. You can find that number on a sticker inside the packaging of the GPS Analyst CD. Click on "Next."

Choose the type of organization to which you belong and your geographic area. Click "Save" to see your installation code. Copy it into your Windows clipboard or write it down.

Launch the GPS Analyst installation process. Click on "Next" twice and type or paste your installation code. Click on "Next" again to complete the installation.
