How to Download a Teto Model

Teto will appear the next time you launch the program.

Kasane Teto is the name of a character originally created as an April Fools joke as the first release for UTAU, a Japanese voice synthesizer. Her model has since been recreated by users of MikuMikuDance, animation software that allows you to make 3-D movies. The program is Japanese freeware, and the models are designed by other users. Kasane can be downloaded in a compressed set with other models of the same type.

Things You'll Need

• Extraction software
• MMD version 3.0 or higher

Instructions

1. Click the mediafire.com link and wait for the green download button to appear.

2. Click "Download" and close any popups that might appear.

3. Click "Save and Open."

4. Wait for the download to finish, and double-click to open the main folder.

5. Click "Extract To," and browse to the following folder: C:Program Files/MikuMikuDance/User File/Models.

6. Click "OK" to confirm.

Tips & Warnings

• Although the .pmd file contains the actual model, Teto comes with source images that must be installed to display properly. Do not move or delete any of the images from the folder after installation.
