How to Send a Primavera P3 Email

Primavera Project Planner P3 is a software application developed by Oracle, and it is used as a project portfolio management tool. The product includes a mail feature that project managers can use to send and receive email via Primavera. Emails can be sent to update the activity status of a project, create a backup of the entire project or create a simple text message.       Click “Start,” “All Programs” and then select “Primavera Project Planner P3.”

      Click “File” and select “Open” from the context menu. Choose a project from which you want to send email and click “Open.”

      Click “File” and select “Send Mail.” The Send Mail wizard launches.

      Select the desired mail option from the wizard: “Activities in the project (allows recipient to update activity status), “Compressed backup of entire project” or “Simple text message (without project information).” Click “Next.”

      Select which project activities you want to send from the screen that opens. If you selected “Simple text message” from the previous step, type your text message in the message box. Click “Next.”

      Select the recipients of your message in the subsequent screen. Click “Next” to send your message.
