How to Make the Bookmark Toolbar Show in Chrome

Google's Chrome browser has a purposefully minimal look that makes the most of screen real estate but can leave some users wanting more -- such as easy access to their bookmarks. The Bookmarks toolbar in Google Chrome lists all of your bookmarked webpages as buttons so that you can visit them with a single click. If you do not see the Bookmarks toolbar on the Google Chrome window, you must enable it from the Google Chrome “Wrench” menu.

Instructions

    • 1

Click the wrench-shaped button next to the Google Chrome URL bar.

    • 2

Point to the option labeled “Bookmarks.”

    • 3

Select “Show Bookmarks Bar.” You will now see the bookmarks toolbar right beneath the URL bar.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can bookmark a website by clicking the star-shaped icon on the URL bar.
