How to Recover Cookies on Mozilla SQLite
The Firefox browser uses cookies to keep track of important information. When you log into a secure website or add an item to an online shopping cart, the site stores a cookie in your Firefox profile. If you need to recover cookies from an old profile, you must create a new profile and copy the cookies.sqlite files into the new profile.

Close out of Firefox and hold down the "Start" button on the keyboard. Press the "R" key to open the Run box.

Type "firefox.exe -p" in the box and press "Enter" or click "OK." The Firefox Profile Manager will appear.

Click "Create Profile..." and select "Next."

Type a name for the new profile and click "Choose Folder..." Create a new folder for the profile and click "Finish."

Click the "Start" button on the Windows task bar and enter "%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\" in the search box. The profiles will appear in the box over the search bar.

Right-click the profile you want to recover cookies from and select "Copy." Right-click the desktop and select "Paste." This creates a backup of the profile in case something goes wrong.

Open Firefox and click the Firefox button. Select "Help" and open "Troubleshooting Information."

Click "Open Containing Folder." A window will appear with your profile information. Close the main Firefox window.

Highlight the "cookies.sqlite" files in the new window and click the "Organize" button. Select "Copy."

Click the "Profiles" link in the top menu bar. The screen will show your new and old profiles.

Open the new profile folder and click "Organize." Select "Paste." If the computer prompts you to overwrite the files, select "Yes."

Tips & Warnings
If something goes wrong, delete the old profile and copy the backup you made on the desktop into the Profiles folder.
