Log into your LogMein account at secure.logmein.com.

Click “Start,” type “CMD” in the Search box and press “Enter.”

Type “ipconfig” at the Command Prompt. Write down the IP address listed under the Window IP Configuration.

Contact your local police department with the make and model of your laptop, along with the IP address. This will let them track down the location of your laptop.
