How to Put 2.0 Layouts on Myspace From Photobucket

If you host digital photos on your Photobucket account, you have the option to use one of your images as a layout on your Myspace 2.0 profile. Your Photobucket picture appears as the background of your profile, and it fills the page so it is always visible when scrolling. Photobucket conveniently provides you with a URL address that points directly to your photo so you can apply it to the background. Use the menus particular to Myspace 2.0 to enter the code that changes your layout.

      Log into your Photobucket account. Click the "Albums" link in the menu bar at the top to load your pictures on the page.

      Click the image you want to use for your profile background. Copy the URL address that appears in the "Direct link" text field on the right.

      Log into your Myspace account. Click the "Profile" menu and then click the "Customize Profile" option in the drop-down list.

      Click the "Appearance" link on the left side and then click the "CSS" option that displays in the right column. Type the following code in the text box that appears:
      body { background-image: url(enter photobucket direct link here) repeat center center; }

      Be sure to replace the text between the parentheses with your Photobucket URL.

      Click the "Preview" button at the top of the page to see your new layout. Click the "Publish" button to finish applying it to your 2.0 profile.
