IMVU is a free website that allows users to create avatars and interact with other members. One of IMVU's notable features is its ability to handle groups, or communities, started by IMVU members. Each IMVU group has its own homepage, divided into several sections. One of those sections is the soapbox, a section that allows you, the administrator, to represent yourself and your group. You can add a picture to a soapbox on IMVU by using the correct syntax.
Navigate to IMVU.com and log in to your account.
Click on "Community" in the toolbar and select "Groups." Select the group and soapbox you want to edit under "My Groups." Select "Edit message" next to "The Soapbox."
Copy-and-paste the following code into the box: . Replace "URL address of the picture" with the actual uniform resource locator address of the picture file. URL addresses must contain the "http://" prefix. Click on "Save."
