How to Set up IEView in Miranda
Miranda IM, a free, open-source, instant messaging application, supports multiple networks, including Windows Live Messenger, AIM and Yahoo. Miranda IM users can customize the program by adding plugins. IEView, one such Miranda IM plugin, allows users to customize the chat window and log files. You can install IEView for Miranda IM by downloading the plugin to a specific file folder.

Open an Internet browser and navigate to the "IEView Unicode 1.3.0.3" page at Miranda-IM.org.

Click on the "Download" link. Your browser starts downloading the ZIP file that contains the plugin.

Click on the "Start" menu and select "Computer." Navigate through your hard drive and locate the downloaded file. Right-click on the file and select "Extract."

Open the folder containing the extracted file. Select all the files inside the file, right-click on the group and choose "Copy."

Navigate to the folder containing your Miranda IM installation and open the "plugins" folder. Typically, your Miranda IM installation folder is located at "C:\Program Files\Miranda IM". Right-click in the "plugins" folder and select "Paste." Restart Miranda IM to use IEView.
