How to See Text in Foobar
Foobar 2000 is free media player software that is used to play audio files on your computer. There are numerous plug-in components you can add to the Foobar program to further enhance your music listening experience. For instance, use a component that allows you to view the text, as the song plays in your media player. Most of the Foobar plug-ins show the name of the artist, the title of the song and the song lyrics.

Download the lyrics plug-in that you want to use to display text in your Foobar player. An example of plug-ins available include FooUi, Mini Lyrics and Foosion and Lyric Show Panel 3.

Open the Foobar program on your computer. Click “Edit” from the top menu bar. Select “Preferences.”

Click “Components.”

Press “Install.” Browse through your computer files to locate the downloaded plug-in. Double-Click the plug-in file to upload it to the Foobar player.

Click “OK.” Close and re-open your Foobar window.

Press “View” from Foobar's top navigation bar.

Click the “Dockable Panels” option.

Press “New.” The installed component appears in the panels list.

Right-click the component. Select “Lyrics.” The lyrics text box will appear in your media player window.
