How to Transfer Ring Tones From Your Old Virgin Mobile to Your New One

Virgin Mobile allows you to purchase, download and set a custom ring tone as your ringer. If you have purchased a new phone with Virgin Mobile, you may want to transfer your ring tones from your old phone to your new one without having to repurchase the ring tones. You can transfer the ring tones by using your computer and the USB cable supplied with your phones.

Instructions

1. Connect your old Virgin Mobile phone to your computer using the USB cable.

2. Click “Start” and “Computer” on your computer.

3. Double-click the listing for your Virgin Mobile phone under "Devices with Removable Storage."

4. Double-click the “Ring tones” folder.

5. Copy and paste the ring tones files to a new folder on your computer desktop.

6. Attach your new Virgin Mobile phone to your computer using the supplied USB cable.

7. Click “Start” and “Computer.”

8. Double-click the listing for your Virgin Mobile phone under "Devices with Removable Storage."

9. Double-click the ring tones folder you created on your computer desktop.

10. Copy and paste the ring tones files to the ring tones folder in your new phone.
