How to Install an AC Techtronics Turbo Gauge
The AC Techtronics Turbo Gauge is an aftermarket turbo boost gauge. This gauge is an electronic instrument that deciphers and monitors the amount of boost pressure produced by the engine's turbocharger. This gauge warns drivers if excess boost conditions are reached, as these conditions can cause damage to both the engine and the turbocharger system. Installation time for the Techtronics Turbo Gauge is approximately one to two hours.
Instructions

1
Open the vehicle's hood and remove the negative battery cable with an adjustable wrench to remove the threat of electrical shock while working.
-
2
Drill a hole through the dash and then through the firewall into the engine compartment.
-
-
3
Attach the gauge's ferrule, pressure hose and nut to the back of the gauge and then feed the tubing out through the hole in the dashboard.
-
4
Mount the gauge itself to the dashboard using Velcro strips.
-
5
Run the gauge's pressure hose through the hole in the firewall to inside the engine compartment. Use plastic ties to hold the hose down so it does not rub against any moving parts.
-
6
Cut into one of the existing pressure hoses feeding into the manifold with a knife. Connect each end of the cut hose to the plastic T-adapter that comes with the gauge set. Plug the hose running from the gauge into the third orifice on the plastic T-adapter.
-
7
Strip the end of the power wire (which will be red or white depending on the exact model of the gauge) running from the gauge, and connect it to the auxiliary slot on the inside the fuse box. Use wire strippers to strip the end of the wire.
-
8
Connect the ground wire to a metal bolt on the frame.
-
9
Replace the car's negative battery cable with the adjustable wrench.
