      Position the cell phone extender in a central location to the desired coverage area. Place the extender near a window, if possible, for best results.

      Insert one end of the Ethernet cable into the "Ethernet" port on the rear of the signal extender.

      Plug the other end of the extender into one of the "LAN" ports on the rear of Linksys router.

      Insert the power adapter for the signal extender into a nearby power outlet and plug the other end of the adapters cord into the "DC" jack on the rear of the signal extender.

      Remove the power cable from the Linksys router and wait 30 seconds before plugging it back into the router. This power-cycles the router and establishes a connection with the signal extender. The "Power," "System" and "WAN" lights glow once the device is configured to the router.
