How to Keep iCal & Sunfire Calendar in Sync

Both Apple iCal and Mozilla Sunbird -- sometimes mistakenly called "Sunfire" -- feature support for loading and publishing calendars in the WebDAV format. By utilizing WebDAV in both applications, you can keep your iCal and Sunbird calendars perfectly in sync. This is useful if you need to keep iCal on your Mac in sync with Sunbird on a PC or if your preferred desktop calendar application is Sunbird but you need schedule data synced to iCal so that you can sync the calendar to your iPhone or another mobile device. In order to take advantage of WebDAV sync, you will need to register an account with a third-party WebDAV server to act as a bridge between iCal and Sunbird.
