How to Make a Siren Noise on Mozilla
In May 2010, after Google released its animated Pac-Man doodle in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the arcade game, users of Mozilla Firefox repeatedly heard the game background sound and a siren noise when not on the doodle page. The source of the issue was the Cooliris, Inc. CoolPreviews add-on. Cooliris has since updated the add-on to prevent this issue. As of the date of this publication, Firefox does not have any add-ons that purposely or accidently recreate siren noises. The lack of an add-on does not mean you can't make this noise while using Firefox. Many sources provide access to online sirens.
