1
Wash her hair with a very mild shampoo without chemicals if possible. Be sure to wash the hair thoroughly and rinse twice to three times to make sure all the shampoo is rinsed out. Wash once a week until the hair becomes softer and filled with moisture again.
-
2
Condition after shampooing and rinse thoroughly. Use a leave-in conditioner after you rinse out the regular conditioner.
-
-
3
Avoid drying the hair with a blow dryer and stay away from flat irons and curling irons. This can be damaging, especially to children's delicate hair.
-
4
Apply mayonnaise to her hair for fun and as a deep conditioning treatment. Use it as a time to do a treatment for yourself as well. It will be a nice bonding time.
-
5
Apply a few drops of coconut oil oil when the hair is clean and damp. This moisturizes the hair and add shine naturally.
