Right-click the hard drive partition where the video game is installed. Select the "Properties" option on the drop-down menu.

Click "Tools" and then click the "Check Now" button.

Check both the boxes under “Check Disk Options” and click “Start.” You will be notified after Windows 7 recovers any file system errors or bad sectors on the hard disk.

Insert the installation DVD of the video game and follow the onscreen instructions to reinstall it.
