Instructions

    • 1

Prep or curl your lashes and apply your mascara. You will need to apply your eye makeup before applying foundation or any other makeup. Let your mascara dry thoroughly.

    • 2

Dot the eye shadow primer onto your upper eyelid with your finger. Blend it well with a sponge. Let the primer dry.

    • 3

Sweep the powdered eye shadow onto the lower part of your eyelid with the shadow brush. Use the highlight brush to spread the translucent powder eye shadow onto the brow bone. Blend the two colors where they meet using the blending brush. The powder color will need to match the cream eye shadow you will use in Step 4.

    • 4

Brush on the cream eye shadow with your cream eye shadow brush. Sweep the color across your lid, covering the dark power eye shadow. The cream shadow needs to be the same hue as the eye sparkles.

    • 5

Dip a slightly dampened wet/dry shadow brush into the eye sparkles. Press the sparkles into the cream shadow while it is still wet. Repeat until the entire area of cream shadow has been covered with sparkles.

    • 6

Tip your head forward and blink your eyes rapidly. This will release any loose sparkles. Remove any of the sparkles that have fallen onto your cheeks with a baby wipe or a large powder brush.

    • 7

Repeat the process for the other eye.

Tips & Warnings

  • Apply the sparkles below your crease line as covering your entire eyelid can be too dramatic.

  • Always use sparkles specifically designed for eye makeup. It is safe to select an eye sparkle made by a makeup manufacturer as they are made of eye-friendly materials. Do not use craft glitter or sparkles. They have sharp edges and can be made of glass.

  • If your eye becomes irritated, flush with cold water immediately.
