How to Give the Tutor the Heart Scale in "Pokemon Platinum"
In "Pokémon Platinum," released for the Nintendo DS in 2009, Pokémon can learn moves from a variety of different sources: leveling up, using machines or through move tutors. In Pastoria City, a move tutor can re-teach your Pokémon moves they learned at previous levels. This is useful if you want your Pokémon to remember a move you replaced. The move tutor requires one Heart Scale for each move he teaches a Pokémon. After acquiring a Heart Scale, you can trade it with the move tutor in exchange for a move.

Tips & Warnings
Heart Scales can be found in the Underground and from wild Luvdiscs.
If you don't have a Heart Scale, the move tutor refuses to teach your Pokémon a move. One Heart Scale is required each time you want your Pokémon to re-learn a move.
