How to Clear "Most Visited" From a Chrome Browser Window

When you open a new window or tab in Google Chrome, you see all of your most visited websites listed as thumbnails. A Most Visited thumbnail displays a snapshot of a website you can click to instantly go to the website. Clear the thumbnails in the Most Visited section by clearing your Google Chrome browsing history.

      Click the wrench-shaped button in the upper-right corner of Google Chrome and then select “Options.”

      Click “Under the Hood” beneath Options on the left side of the browser window that opens.

      Click “Clear Browsing Data” beneath “Privacy."

      Click to check the box next to Clear Browsing History.

      Click “Clear Browsing Data” to clear all the Most Visited thumbnails in Google Chrome windows and tabs.
