How to Connect an iPad to a Bang & Olufsen System
You can connect your iPad to your Bang & Olufsen sound system to play the sound from the tablet through your home theater system. While the iPad includes built-in speakers, they lack the power and bass capabilities of larger home theater systems. In order to connect the iPad, you will need an additional AV adapter to transfer the audio from the iPad in the highest quality signal available.

Turn off the Bang & Olufsen system and the iPad.

Plug the Apple Digital AV adapter into the connection port on the bottom of the iPad.

Insert one end of the HDMI cable into the "HDMI" port on the adapter. Plug the other end into the "HDMI IN" jack on the rear of the Bang & Olufsen receiver to connect the iPad to the audio system.
